about

"The Glass Half" is a mixture of things that were, things that are, and some things that have not yet come to pass. It takes it's songs from a discarded album "Mistakes", the new album "The Gift Horse", and a future more electronica album, yet to be titled. The first track, "Cycles" (also on the LP) was recorded in San Diego at SDRL (then studio of Pall Jenkin's of Three Mile Pilot / The Black Heart Procession) by engineer & producer Robert Cheek, who has worked with Band Of Horses, Chelsea Wolfe, Tera Melos, Deftones, By Sunlight and many more.

Track Name: Cycles (Album Version)
when the cops all arrived they were wasted on us
when the parents arrived they were wasted on us and our youth,
on our youth, honor you
send us a letter if you miss home enough

you should know all your lies are all wasted on us
when the fact we survived isn't wasted on us and our youth
on our youth, honor you
send us a letter if you miss home enough
Track Name: Lights Out
Cameras always watching. You’ll never escape. All your memories sold. Landslide, it’s no contest. They blew us away. All our wires crossed their side. Been around since ‘75 and watched our liberty die. Well, I know these things come and go. Servers overflowing - can’t handle the rate. All our missiles have launched. Call your doctor. Hell, call your priest. Have your chances increased? Been around since ‘75 and watched our liberty die. Well, I know these things come and go. And and on ignoring the signs. Get yours and I’ll get mine. I know these things come and go.
Track Name: Corners (Whiskey Mix)
They paint you in corners. They draw you from lines.
Saw the angles they needed to color you right.
Better down than out when no one is talking about those that you lost

Circle him. He’s sees no shapes. Better down than out when no is talking about those that you loved.

Close your ears. Close your eyes. Don’t stand out. Just stand there and wait in line.
Close your ears and close your mind. Don’t stand out. Just stand there and wait in line.

Your windows are empty. You’re blue is not sky. You forget where you started. Perspective’s not right. Better down than out when no is talking about those that you loved.

Close your ears. Close your eyes. Don’t stand out. Just stand down and wait in line.
Close your ears and close your mind. Don’t stand out. Just stand down and wait in line.
Track Name: Surprise
Too smart to fall. Well, that has all been copied and rushed through processes unknown. Surprised like holy roller’s open eyes with tongues all rolled out. You can’t - you won’t see in their eyes.
